Greetings and I warmly welcome you and invite you to visit and explore our institute “Lucknow Institute of Pharmacy” (LIP), Sultanpur Road, Chandsarai Gosainganj , Lucknow campus to have a feel of our flourishing academic environment.LIP –Lucknow was established in the year 2009, with an aim to train individuals displaying competency in the pharmaceutical sector to meet the requirements of the ever-growing healthcare sector. The Institute is affiliated to Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow , Uttar Pradesh Board of Technical Education Lucknow (UPBTE) and is approved and recognized by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi and Pharmacy Council of India(PCI), New Delhi. This institute offers courses in Bachelor of Pharmacy (B. Pharm.) , Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm) and Master of Pharmacy (M. Pharm.) with specializations in Pharmacology with the prospect of starting Ph. D in Pharmacy in near future.
The brilliance in academics and research activities comes from the vigilant selection of faculty members in which LIP-Lucknow has not made any compromise. We have a group of renowned, highly qualified and knowledgeable faculty members most of them are Ph.D.s from National Universities and Research Organizations like CSIR-IICB, CSIR-CDRI, JU, etc. Our faculty members are continuously giving their best effort to bring in research projects from different national level research organization and are also trying to build relationship with international universities situated aboard for training programs of our students. We provide the best quality education to the students. The college has well-equipped laboratories and excellent infrastructure to make the students acquire knowledge that would help them to face the global competition.
I am particularly happy that the alumni of this institute has been playing an excellent role in all spheres of pharmaceutical activities in India and abroad. The institute takes immense pride in their achievements. Last but not the least, LIP, Lucknow is making special efforts to encourage co-curricular activities including sports, adventure, cultural and social services among its students.
